GREY LICENSES.

COMMITTEE OVERRIDES MAGISTRATE. N Press Association. GREYMOUTH, July 5. At the adjourned annual meeting of the Grey Licensing Committee, two new accommodation licenses were granted and two old licenses were allowed to lapse, thus causing vacancies, and the new licenses were granted for places where license had not previously existed, and in districts .where the population was larger than was the case in regard to the lapsed licenses. Mr Hewitt, S.M. dissented from the committee's decision.
