TO THE ELECTORS. The aim of the Bible-in-Scliools League is to secure a referendum on the following ' OBJECTIVE: System of Religious Instruction in State Schools prevailing .in Australia: Lessons >ead in school hours by the children themselves, from Scripture books provided by the Education Department; iState School Teachers supervising thfi reading, but not giving sectarian 'or' dogmatic teaching. , * Visits during school hours by ministers or accredited teachers from the churches, instructing -children in the faith of their fathers. Conscience Clause by which the parent has complete control of the child's.' religious instruction in the public school. The question at 'this election is whether the people should be granted the right to express their opinion by means of a referendum on this matter. You are ixrged to vote ONLY for the candidates' who are prepared to grant the referendum sought for by the League.
