A meeting of ratepayers of Spreydon met in the Barrington Street Schoolroom last night to discuss the raising of a loan for drainage extension and improvement. The proposal is for a loan of £7OOO, and will be put to the ratepayers at the poll to be held to-morrow. Although the meeting indulged in some free opinions concerning the Borough Council, it decided to leave the question to the decision of the ballot.
