LATE SHIPPING.
When the Maori enters the Wellington-Lyt-telton ferry service on Friday of next week, "the Monowai is to, resume running in the East Coast service, replacing the Tarawera, which will withdraw for overhaul on arrival at Ounedin on Thursday. The Melbourne Steamship Company's Brisbane arrived at Lytteiton early last evening and anchored in the stream. She was berthed this morning. In all probability discharge of her coal for Lytteiton will be finished on Monday, and she will then proceed to Akaroa to put out the remainder. Afterwards the Brisbane will go to a North Island port to load timber.
