The counting of the preference votes in some electorates is incomplete. On the latest figures, Labour has won the Port Fairy seat from, the Liberals, and Mr R. I. Argyle, the" old Liberal member for Dalhousie, has been defeated by Mr A. F. Cameron, the Independent Liberal. This makes the state of the parties now:-^-Liberal .. 42 Labour .. 23
