BRITISH ARMOURED TRAIN. GERMAN BRIDGE BLOWN TO SPLINTERS. (Received November 28, 8.45 a.m.) PARIS. November 27. The Germans have been for a long time constructing a bridge at Dixmude for the use of the'large forces assembled there. When the task was Hearing completion on Monday a British naval armoured train dashed to within three-quarters ofjamile and opened fire with : four guns and sir mitrailleuses. .In. leg's than five minutes 100 engineers had been killed, 50 wounded, and the work blown to .splinters, despite the fire from the German batteryj which derailed a truck. .-■. ■ •
