It is stated in Rotterdam that Ger- • many is abandoning her present method ' of trench, or field fortress, fighting in favour of rapid field operations, because she cannot stand what is practically a siege, so far from her principal bases, in winter. LONDON, November 25. Germans have liberally subsidised Bulgarian journals, which daily publish reports of brilliant German and Austrian victories, and of widespread revolts in India, Egypt, Algeria, and Africa.
