LONDON, November 26.

During, the recent fighting at Ypres German guns found the range of a British trench, and the British were ordered to quit, preventing our battery from checking the advance. Several hundred German infantry and gunners prepared for a hand-to-hand fight. The Germans charged in close order, and when they were within twenty-five yards the final rounds from the guns practically annihilated the Germans.
