THE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE.

QUALITY OF THE FOOD. ' On Monday evening, Mr G. W. Russell, M.F., stated, at a meeting of his Constituents, that he .had received private letters containing complaints from members of the Expeditionary Force regarding the quantity and quality of the food supplied on the transports. Mrs James Wright, of Willow Bank, KaiapOij forwards a copy of a letter from her son, who is with the Expeditionary Force, in the course of which the writer says the men are all having a real good time. Other letters have been received stating that the food is very good, and Mrs Wright is anxious that these facts should be given to the public in contradiction of the statements referred to by Mr Russell.
