METROPOLITAN SHOW.

QUIBELL'S DIPS AND "KEROL." A very attractive display of Sheep Dips and Disinfectants was made at the A. and P. Show by Messrs Dalgety and Co., in a large tent situated on the main drive, and it appealed especially to the farmer, but the city man found something there to interest him as well, and tliat was the K6rol, Disinfectant, "wrhich, after years of. investigation, has been proved to J)e fhe best preventive to the spread of all diseases. In the home it can be used with every confidence and safety, as it contains no carbolic acid. In the stable, the cow-yard, the dogkennel, and the poultry-yard, it can also be used for many purposes. Experiments have proved that 1 per cent, solution of Kerol has . destroyed the anthrax spore in one hour, and that it is also useful as a drench for stock. Kerol is enjoying a r.eady and everincreasing sale, ,and those persons who have not made themselves acquainted with the many useful and healthful purposes to -which it can be put should inspect this particular exhibit. In addition, Messrs Dalgety had a large display of. the world-famed Quibell's Dips, which are manufactured in Newark, England. - These dips have been manufactured now for over a century, and their use to-day is almost universal. Many New Zealand farmers are already aware of the benefits tliey derive by using these par; ticiilar dips, both in the way of a cleaner wool and a better price when it is placed on the market. That is why the Quibell brand of dips is in such, great demand at the present time. It is calculated that during the last few years the demand for these dips has increased by' nearly 200 per cent., and in New Zealand Quibell's is recognised as the best obtainable.

A smaller exhibit of "Kerol" was made at the Canterbury Kennel Club's show, and attracted a great deal of attention from both fanciers and visitors.
