ROWING.
THE CANTERBURY CLUB. In the first heat of the Canterbury Rowing Club's President's Fours, W. J. Guthrie, R. Henderson, B. Beaumont, and R. Philp beat A. C. Pinwill, C. C. Mosley, A. Wilson, and L. Lawry by three-quarters of a length, and F. R. Dunsford, A. E. Cuddon, H. C. Ilargreaves, and W. 11. Jones defeated V. I). Hewer, L. M. Isitt, L. J. N Campbell, and G. Glen by several lengths. Dunsford's crew beat A. R. Blank's crew in the second heat. The final, between Dunsford and Guthrie, is to be rowed this evening.
