John Paterson, of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Christehurch, hastaken up -the honorary position of general secretary to the Canterbury-Westland Central Committee of .the Bible-in-Schools Lestgue, the position which, was held by the Rev. John Mackenzie until his departure for Melbourne. Mr Paterson's help will be of especml value r he having been educated under the New South Wales system, and also for. 11 years given Scriptural instruction under that system.
