LODGE MEETING.
IVY OF LINWOOD, U.A.O.D. Tlie usual fortnightly meeting of the Ivy of Linwood Lodge was held in the Orange Hall, Worcester Street. ArchDruid, Bro. Dickerson, presided over a large attendance, including several visitors. Sick pay to the amount of £7 13/4' was passed for payment. An appeal from the Ivanhoe Lodge, Bunedin, on' behalf of a distressed brother was also received, and it was decided to grant the sum of £1 1/-. The lodge here adjourned for the purpose of hearing a lecture by Miss 11. M. Rolleston on "Prison Keform" in the female prisons of New Zealand, which proved very interesting, and for x which the speaker was accorded a very hearty vote of thanks. The programme for next lodge night, November 2, is a card match and social evening, with the Queen's Own Lodge.
