The Maitai, which has been delayed here since Friday afternoon owing to the firemen who came with her from 'Friseo demanding to be paid off in Wellington, where they had been shipped, resumed her voyage to Sydney at 10.80 this morning, a new stokehold staff having been obtained. WELLINGTON, October 19. Arrived —Rotorua (3.15 p.m.), from London. NOTES. Mr G. Hunter, third engineer of the Maitai, signed off the vessel's articles at Wellington. Mr W. Mason, chief steward of the name vessel, also came ashore, and Mr Johnson, second steward, was * promoted a step. An arrival at Auckland late last evening was the steamer Star of Scotland.
