The will of the late King Charles of Rumania expresses the hope that hia successor will adopt the principle that he himself followed, of "all for his country and nothing for self." He forgave his calumniators. The will expresses a desire that he be buried in the undress uniform of a general and that the coffin be borne on a gun-carriage captured at Plevna, by six white horses, without any black drapery. King Charles's personal property exceeds £4,000,000 sterling.
