GBBAT COMMOTION AT QUAYS. FIVE THOUSAND INVADERS. AMSTERDAM, October 17. It is officially announced in Berlin that the Germans have occupied Os- "• tend. ; ; "v LONDON, October 17, The i( Daily Mail" correspondent reports that the Germans entered Ostend on Thursday morning. There was great commotion owing to the crowds of refugees at the quays, and in the hotels. The invaders numbered five thousand. The Germans are lodged ip the public buildings. Two thousand were left at Zeebruggen. There are no Ger-. mans between Heyst and Sluis.
