NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP. Prese Association. AUCKLAND, October 16. The New Zealand Golf Championship Meeting was continued to-day in fine weather. There were some interesting games in the semi-finals of the amateur and professional tournaments. A. J. S. Duncan (Wellington) and J. Harold (Wanganui) are left in the final of 86 holes for the Amateur Championship, and E. S. Douglas (Wanganui) and W. McEwan (Masterton) will play off the final of the Professionals' Match. A Medal Handicap played to-day was won by E. R. Bloomfield (Auckland). Results are as follow: AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP OF NEW ZEALAND. Third Round. J. Harold (Wanganui) beat J. Goss (Wanganui), 1 up at the nineteenth hole. J. C. Burns (Auckland) beat F. C. Fryer (Auckland), 5 up and 4 to play. S. Morpeth (Waihi) . beat W. B. Colbeck (Auckland), 3 up and 2 to play. A. D. S. Duncan (Wellington) beat F. G. Binney (Auckland), 6 up and 4 to play. Semi-final. Duncan beat Morpeth, 2 up. Harold beat Burns, 2 up. Final. Duncan beat Harold in tlie final- of the Amateur Golf Championship by 11 up and 10 to play. - - A WIN FOR DOUGLAS. AUCKLAND, October 17. E. S. Douglas, of Wanganui, beat McEwan, of Masterton, in the final for the Professional Championship by „1 up at the eighteenth hqle. MEDAL MATCH. A Medal Match was played at Shirley links to-day.
