LODGE MEETINGS.

The usual fortnightly meeting of the Pride of Christchurch Tent, 1.0. R., was held in the Y.M.C.A. on Monday evening, a large number of members being present. All the various 1.0. E. Tents in Christchurch were represented. Bro. C. H. Bascand, C.R. 4 was in the chair.

In connection with the membership campaign, the Enterprise Tent, winners, and Phillipson Tent, runners-up, "were complimented on their fine performance, having increased their membership by 75 per cent. Dr. Crooke was elected as medical officer in place of Dr. Sandstein. Bro. T. Newburgh was elected as delegate to Invercargill. The following officers were nominated:—District Chief Ruler, Bro. Munro; Deputy-Chief Ruler, Bro. Newburgh and Bro. Leaver; Juvenile Superintendent, Bro. Leaver. v Receipts for the evening amounted to £64 3/3.
