ALLEGED FRAUD.
CHARGE AGAINST SOLICITOR. LARGE SUM INVOLVED. A further charge, of alleged misappropriation has been laid against Thomas Maud; a Christchureh solicitor. The charge is that on Jantiary, 1913, he received from: Thomas Ballan the sum of £2400 on terms requiring him to' account for, or pay the same to ''Robert Cbupland. Proceedings are being, tak«n bysum-, mons, and the case" will come before the court on the 21st Inst. ,
