RUGBY FOOTBALL.
ALBION CLUB'S SMOKE CONCERT. The Albion Rugby Football Club held its annual smoke concert last evening, in the club's rooms, High Street. There was a large attendance and Mr S. P. Wilson presided. A lengthy toast-list was honoured. Contributions to the harmony of the evening were given by Palmer's Orchestra and Messrs Dobbie, Withers, Blythe, J. Denny, D. Crouch, J. Colbeck, and W. E. Loach. Medals were presented to the following: —C. Gibson, T. Sincock, A. Watson, J. Tunnington, B. Bolland, L. Buchanan, and E. Mason (medals won in seven-aside tournament at Tiiuaru), J. Me Arthur (most consistent trainer during the season), J. Mercer (for services to the club), A. Henry (Major Jordan's medal for the best "sport" in the club), and E. Livingstone and N. Kelly (best back and forward in fifth-grade team).
