ROWING.

CANTERBURY BOWING CLUB. ? The monthly meeting of the committee, of the Canterbury Bowing Club was held on Wednesday evening. Messrs J. S. Guthrie and E. J. Hobbs were appointed to act with the club captain on the Eacing Committee. It was dec ided to invite the Christ College and High School rowing crews to participate in the procession on the opening day, October 10. It was also decided to a Flannel Dance in the boathouse in the evening. The club will be "at home:" to their friends in the afternoon, whea Mrs Cowlishaw will preside at afternoon tea.
