GERMAN PRESTIGE SUFFERS
German prestige has suffered'a shook. Its plans on the right have been thrown into chaos and it is no .longer on the offensive. The forces ot' the Allies arc superior in numbers and in certain respects, notably artillery, are better equipped. In that supreme quality, the spirit of the men, they may be assumed to be at least the equal of the foe, ami there is at present as much reason to believe that they have the better generalship as to believe the contrary. — "Australasian."
