ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
A meeting of the Canterbury Football Association was held last evening, Mr K. English presiding. It was decided, with reference to the new ground at Cranford Street, ; that the Drainage Board be written to for permission to improve the sides of the drains, remove trees and bridge.
Advice was received fw>m the secretary of the Canterbury Referees' Association to the effect that the association had disbanded. —The letter was received, and Messrs Hurley, Briee, Williamson, Thornley, Burgess, an | Ives were requested to take steps towards a new association. For the matches next Saturday the referees will be Messrs Briee, Williamson, Thornley, and Gill. Final arrangements for the big match next. Saturday were completed. It was decided that programmes be printed, and that each programme be numbered,, the numbers to be drawn, and the holder of the programme with the winning number to receive a short flight with Mr Scotland at a time to be arranged.
