MAD MOTORIST.
ATTACKS CHAUFFEUR. Press Association. BANNEVIEKE, September 23. A" motor car driver named James had an exciting experience while taking a passenger to Palmerston North yesterday. When near Maharahara the fare asked him to increase the speed. The driver. refused, and the man, who was a tailor employed in Dannevirke, violently attacked him. James had a severe struggle with the man who, when he had quietened down somewhat, was taken to AVoodville ? where help was obtained. Later he was brought back here, and to-day was certified as being insane and committed to an asylum.' .
