BAND OF HOPE, UNION COMPETITION.
In the Choral Hall on Saturday evening a demonstration concert by the prize-winners o£ the first week of the Band of Hope competitions was given. There was a large attendance, .and the items were heartily enjoyed; ; This evening the competitions will be continued, when the pianoforte solo, sacred solo, vocal solo, recitation, dumb-bells sections, and the club competition will be presented.
