FARMER AND POISON.
Press Association. DANNEVIRKE, September 12. Alex. Mcßride, a farmer, of Matamau, died last evening at his home as a result of poisoning. Deceased had been depressed lately, and had been endeavouring to dispose, of his interest in a farm. Shortly after returning home from Tokomaru he took poison.
