SEVENTH NIGHT. There was a large attendance at the Y.M.C.A. Concert Hall on Saturday, when the Christchurch Debating 's competitions were continued. T. Telford (Y.M.C.A.), and T. C. Hatton (Heathcote) also competed. SHIELD POINTS. The points scored by the winning clubs on SaUirday have changed the positions of the three leading teams somewhat. Y.M.C.A. is now leading with 40 points, and Technical College has gone into second place, 11- points behind. St. Paul's have gone down to third place with 34 points. The junior set debate is the most important item for this evening's programme-, for the points scored in this section for the competitive shield will possibly be a! decisive factor. The subject is: "That all British Subjects should have Admittance to all Parts of. the 4 Empire on Equal Terms.". There are four teams competing, representing Technical, 'Varsity, St. Paul's, and Y.M.C.A.
