■ ; . a . (Before Messrs Fenner and Andrews, J.P.'s.) DRUNKS. V . William Vincent, a man with a record, appeared charged with drunkenness, the second offence within the last six months. Sub-Inspector McKinnon explained that J for the man's own benefit he was V- going to ask that a prohibition order should be issued against him, Vincent expressed his willingness, that this should be done, and he was convicted and discharged for drunkenness and prohibition order' was issued against him. Catherine v Forward appeared for disorderly behaviour while drunk and. far smashing a window. S..Sub-Inspector. McKinnon explained, that' accused had not been before the court for a long time.' . The friction had been more or less of a family nature. Accused, while drunk, had thought her son-in-law : fair game and had started abusing him, for which she had been turned out of the. house." She had then thrown a stone through the window. 'The Bench .imposed-a fine of o/- and costs and accused was ordered, .to pay for damages to the window. THEFT. Robert Vesey, (Mr M. Donnelly)-ap-peared charged with the theft of a bicycle on the 10th, the property of Geo. Wm. Ford. Mr Donnelly asked for an adjournment until Friday next, the 4th inst. CYCLING ON FOOTPATH. . -Leslie Scrimshaw,, for cycling on the foopath, was find 7/-and, costs, CONCERNING TROUSERS. Harry Bell, a second-hand dealer, was fined £1 and 7/- costs for failing to enter in a boolt the date of the sale of two pair of trousers, thus violating the Act.
