CHRISTCHURCH SAILING CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Christcliurcli Sailing and Power Boat Club was held last night, Commodore J. W. Beanland presiding. The annual report stated that the membership stood at 130. The total receipts were £llO 13/6, and the expenditure £BO 9/4, which included £ll renovating the clubhouse and. repairs to plant. The report and balance sheet were adopted. The following officers were elected: —President, Mr S. P. Andrews; vice-presidents, Messrs J. W. Beanland, Geo. Humphreys, and T. Cloudesley; commodore, Mr B. j. Marquet; vice-commodore, Mr Geo. Moon; committee, Messrs J. Smith, C. Andrews, J. Gregg, S. Horsnall, and F. Booth; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr J. McColl;/ hon. auditor, Mr C. J. Atkinson; yacht handicapper, Mr H. Patten; punt liandicapper,■ Mr J. Gregg. Mr George Lorimer was elected a life member of tlje club.
