Each tour is to consist of sevea matches, two being, tests, the net proceeds., to.be,divided into the proportion of 40 per cent, to 'the home union and i>o per cent, to the other unions. Other points dealt with were the appointment of referees and the questions of ordered-off or injurad players, .and the ..interchange of rulings. RUGBY BENEFIT MATCH.

VOLUNTEERS v. CANTERBURY REPRESENTATIVES. An effort is being made by the managing committee of the Canterbury Rugby Union to arrange a match between a representative fifteen and a te*m of Rugby players : from the : Expeditionary Force in <samp at Addiugton, the match to be played at Lancaster Park next Saturday. All the proceeds will be given to the Canterbury Patriotic Provident Fund. The officers of the force favour the proposal, but the consent of Major-General Godley, who will arrive from the north to-morrow morning, has to be obtained. It is expected that Major-General Godley will readily give permission. If the match is arranged, the military authorities probably will march all the troops to Lancaster Park. The presence of the troops in itself should be a big attraction. But the match also promises to be attractive, for many seniorgrade Rugby players, including men from the West Coast, are in camp, aud they can raise a strong team. A charge of a shilling per head will be made for admission, and it is hoped, that -holders of members' tickets will also pay for admission on this occasion.
