SUPREME COURT.
After hearing legal argument in the case of Isabel Moore v. the National Mortgage and Agency Company in the Supreme; Court, Mr Justice Denniston gave judgment for defendant company, with costs according to the middle scale. The case of Banks v. the King, a retrial of the Bangiora railway accident compensation case, will be taken at 10.30 a.m. to-morrow, before a jury of twelve, v - The ease of Doolan v. Moore was settled out of Court. The case of Pyne and Co. v. McKenzie was also struck out. ' A DIVOBCE CASE. A decree nisi, to be made absolute in three months, was granted to Florence Amelia Shaw, who sought a dissolution of her marriage with Frederick Henry Shaw, on the ground of desertion. Mr 8/6. Baymond, I£,C., with him Mr B. L. Lane, appeared for Mrs Shaw. The case was not defended. Petitioner stated that she was married to respondent in Christchurch on November 27, 1901. Her husband, then was a commercial traveller. Soon after ' the marriage he t started drinking to excess, and to be medically attended in consequence. In 1907 he went to-Tasmania, and thenee to Melbourne. Witness bad not seen him since he returned from Melbourne' in 1909. He had never contributed to her support, and she was dependent upoi» the members of her family. (Proceeding.)
