EX-BOXER CHARGED.

alleged robbery with violence: Walter Ireland and William Muncey, for whom Mr Donnelly and Mr F. K. Hunt appeared, pleaded not guilty to a charge of having assaulted and robbed William Robert Godfrey, a cab driver in the employ of Armitage and Co., of £3 5/-. \ Evidence was given that Ireland and Muncey were together in a "Hoopla" saloon, and had followed Godfrey out, knocked him down and robbed him. After hearing lengthy evidence the magistrate committed the accused to the Supreme Court for trail, bail being allowed.
