MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
LYTTELTON. (Before Captain R. Hatchwell and F. W. Anderson, J.P's.) DRUNKENNESS*
William Knott, with one previous coatviction against him, was fined ten .shillings and costs for being drunk in London Street last evening. BREACH OF THE PEACE. '
James Garner and Lambert were charged with causing a disturbance in London Street, thereby, creating a breach of the peace. The Bench fined each, of the accused 20/- and costs, and in addition Gamer consented to the taking out of a prohibition order against himself. , "ON THE NEVER." Edward Henry Wright was charged with travelling on the s.s. Victoria from Wellington to Lyttelton without paying his fare, and with intent to avoid payment. He was fined;2o/- in addition to his fare. ;
