W, H. Zouch sued H. P. "Bridge, presidcut of the S.P.C.A., for £2 5/-, the value of a barrow'which lie alleged the plaintiff wrongfully detained - at " the Anijrials' Home in Papaiuiißoad, where Zouch had been in charge. Mr Aniodeo appeared for Bridge and Zouch appeared in person. Zouch explained that he once had a new wheel-barrow which he lent to the man in charge of the home so that could cart, the dead dogs. away. It was a new wheel-barrow, specially strong, and he had built it himself. Over and over again he had requested that it should be returned, but special messengers; telephone messages, letters, and verbal communications failed to bring-back the barrow.
He had paid 10/6 for the legs alone,
To Mr Aniodeo: He was not dismissed by Bridge from the employ of the society. He did not try to take away a gas stove from the cottage which the society provided for him. - \ Ilia Worship ordered the barrow to be returned to plaintiff, anil, in addition, awarded him 10/- damages.
