The beef slaughtermen have notified the masters that after Monday they intend to kill only ten bullocks per day per man, at a rate of one and a quarter per hour. The award, while fixing wages, does not state what quantity of work has to be performed. Grave trouble is anticipated, as it is unlikely that-the masters will agree to the men's proposal.
