AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
HUNDRED-METRES RACE. A hundred metres race, open to any amateur athlete, will be held by the Canterbury Centre of the N.Z.A.A.A. on thei oval at Lancaster Park to-morrow afternoon, in the half-time interval in thef Old Boys-Chri3tchureh senior Kugby mateh. Good entries have been received, and the race promises to be very interesting. On the following Saturday a 440 yds fiat race will be run. Entries for this will close with Mr C. S. M'Cully, 84 Tuam Street, next Thursday.
