Alexander Keir, one of tlie ? olctesfc residents of Charlton, four miles fromGore, died last night, aged 71 years* He was born in Perthshire, Scotland,, and arrived at Lyttelfoit in the shipMermaid during 1863. Deceased first introduced the Romney breed of sheep in this district.
