He joked with everybody, expressed disapproval of a top-hat worn by q. diplomatist present, and asked the captain whether any swearing was allowed on British ships. He signed the visitors' book. There was a mutual understanding that 110 thoroughgoing visit would be made to either a British or a German battleship. At a , banquet to the officers of the British squadron, which is visiting Reval, Count Tolstor and the Mayor toasted the British as the "bravest and liuest, navy in the world."
