One of the lions sprang at him aad knocked Dietrich down, and then the others attacked him and partially devoured him. r

The lions virtually ate him alive. Ten lions were in the freight car, ami while Dietrich was making a short fight for life, five cubs endeavoured to escape, causing, a panic in the crowd.
The keeper managed to get them back te the cage.
