SUFFRAGETTE RIOT.
TOWN PARTIALLY WRECKED. CONFLICT WITH POLICE. "Times'' and "Sydney Sun" Services.
LONDON, June 23
A woman and her daughter, suffragettes, were released at Andover on the completion of a; sentence for assault.
They, were escorted by townspeople, whoi riotously smashed windows and attacked the police. The latter charged, injuring several in the crowd.
' The rioters then inarched through the main street, smashing all the windows and lamps. .
MRS PANKHURST FOUND.
BOMB IN A CHURCH.
(Received June 24, 9.10 a.m.) LONDON, .June 23.
Mrs Pankhurst, has been discovered. She-is yachting in the Norfolk Broads, and is being shadoAved. A bomb, was discovered in the porch of St. Mary's Church at Reading, following on a threat to destroy it. The fuse had been lighted.
