' All hope of the safety of the Ateda's crew- has been abandoned, and the tug which was searching has returned. During the search lifebelts and clothing were found, but..no trace of the sailors. WRECKAGE WASHED ASHORE. (ReceiA-ed June 24, 9.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 24. Much of 'the Aleda's wreckage has drifted ashore. It is supposed that she turned turtle in the storm.
