The team to tour South Africa is as follows:—Armstrong (captain), Bardsley (vice-captain), Baring, Barbour, Carkeekj Campbell (manager), Kelleway, Mayne, Macartney, Ryder, Whitty, Moyes, Andrews, and Hazlitt. The Board of Control has decided to approach the New Zealand Council with a view to an arrangement regarding future matches with New Zealand.
The Board of Control has received a request from Barbadoes that the 1916 Australian team play there on its return from England. A copy of the test match conditions is being submitted for the Marylebone Club's approval. The secretary of the Board has- been empowered to obtain data for the' preparation of the .English tour, in Australia, commencing 'in"November,' The Board's English "representative
has beeh ';4sked to submit'st draft programme of the 1916 tour.
ENGLISH COUNTY MATCHES.
LONDON, June 19. Kent won against Yorkshire by an innings and 149 runs. Surrey (403) and Hampshire (275) . played a drawn/game, i' V Middlesex beat Notts by six wickets.
