The report of the General Federation of Trade Unions states that for the first time in four years the income from contributions exceeds the amount expended on federation benefits. The affiliated membership is 967,257, an increase of 92,976 for the year.
BUILDERS REJECT SETTLEMENT.,.
A special meeting of the union, summoned by the Operative Builders' Federation, rejected the proposed settlement. liARKIN LEAVES DUBLIN. Larkin has resigned his position in the Transport Workers' Union, and quitted Dublin.
