The Hornby Progressive Euclire Club held their third meeting on Thursday evening, when, despite the unfavourable weather, there was a good attendance, and a most enjoyable evening was spent. The ladies' prizes were won by Mesdaines Cook and M'Kenzie, Mrs Owen taking the "booby." The gentlemen's prizes were won by Messrs L. Mason and T. Bell, the '' booby '' falling to Mr A. M'Kenide.
