MORE SPEED WORE ON THE "MATCHLESS.

On King's Birthday, at Miramar, Wellington, the Wellington Motor Cyclists'r Club held their annual speed trials. The ;competition was run off on the "knock-out':' principle, riders starting in -pairs, winners ride again. A 3$ h.p.:. ridden by G. H. Tomline, won all its heats and the final, beating all other machines up to 9 h.p., and attaining a speed; of over 70 m.p.h. All the Machines were Tourist Trophy Models. We have second-hand Matchless ■ motor *> cycles for sale, each one being of late model, fully equipped, and in perfect condition. Also one h.p. 1912, free engine, 8.5.A., very little used, £SO; one-3* h.p. 1912, two-speed, King Dick, just overhauled and in excellent condition, £4O. All these motors will be found to be of exceptional value. It is not our practice to buy business by offering absurd allowances on used machines, and then charge enormous prices for new ones. This leads to inflation of values all Found. Thus it is always possible to purchase from us a new Matchless -or a second-hand machine of almost any make, at a. price which represents fair market value. Enquiries are invited re above machines, and any reasonable trial will be accorded to bona fide buyers.
