WALTER SHAW'S TROUBLES.

Press Association. TIMARU, June 13. The Supreme £ourt was occupied again with civil suits arising out of the Walter Shaw muddles. The Venning exchange of properties case was completed and judgment reserved. In the next case, Coulter v. Annand,, plaintiff sold a section and built a house for defendant for £950. Coulter had received nothing. Annand is willing to pay up provided he is given credit for £l4*s he paid to Shaw for Coulter's benefit. Coulter refuses to give a receipt in full. Shaw, who was called, admitted receiving the £l4O and not accounting for it. Decesion was reserved. Another building case, extremely complicated, numerous parties being involved, was settled out of Court. The sitting will be resumed on Monday.
