UP THEY GO AGAIN.

FARES AND FREIGHTS. Press Association. DUNEDIN, June 15. The Union Company has received advice that as a result of the watersiders refusing to work overtime in Australia, the Australian coastal cargo rate has been increased 1/6 per ton, and passenger fares raised 10 per cent. This will not affect cargo rates and fares between New Zealand and Australia, but cargo and passengers transferred from, or to, Australian steamers, will be subject to increased charges, so far as transport on the Australian coast is concerned. The increases are now in operation.
