A handy little paper fastener for loose leaves has Ir round black cord about ten inches in length, with a metal tip at the end, and the other end terminates in a metal device having an elongated eyelet hole. •: , ; The cord passes through perforations in the documents, and the plain metal tipped end is inserted in the metal eyelet at the other end. The cord is then adjusted in a narrow groove in the eyelet, thus holding it firmly in place. if scenic wraps; ; To make novel wraps there are embroidered crepes of the Chinese persuasion showing scenes in gardens, tiger hunts, mountains, pagodas and the conventional floral patterns usually seen on porcelain. There are some lovely silky fabrics in black embroidered with gold, blue, green and pink, and one has a ground of white crepe embroidered with black fruit trees.
Happiness is the most old-fashioned thing in the world, ajid it is still produced by the old -fashioned virtues.
