ROYAL COMMISSION. J Treat Association. I'* - WELLINGTON, May 14. ; The following have been appointed a lloyal -Commission to report upon the .care and carriage of explosives in the i Dominion: —Mr R. W. Holmes (enginLieut. Elmslie (of H.M.S. 'l?hyehe), and Captain Edwards (of the Staff), to report by July 31. The [commission has nothing to do with the iHnti disaster, as it was first mooted a ;year ago. A number of questions have been under discussion for some time, including the location of a magazine ,14 miles from Auckland, in. the Hauralci GuJf, and the carriage of explosives on motor lorries.
