HAWARDEN SALE.
Yesterday at the Ha warden sale some 4350 sheep were yarded, the fat sheep aggregating-3250, lambs accounting for 1900, wethers 737, and ewes made up the balance. A good sale resulted, the prices being as follow: —Freezing lambs 17/6 to 19/-, extra up to 23/-, light and unfinished, 15/6 to 16/6, fat wethers 19/1 to 21/7, fat ewes best 14/1 to 16/10, others 11/- to 13/7; four and sixtooth crossbred wethers 17/3 to 18/9, two-tooth wethers 15/10, six and eight-, tooth ewes (low condition) 18/9, a.m. ewes 15/-j aged culls 2/9, f.m. merino ewes 3/9, rape lambs 13/9 to 14/-, store lambs 11/7.
